Bernard Nusbaum, M.D.

Dr. Bernard Nusbaum brings vast experience and professional expertise to the practice of hair restoration. He specializes exclusively in hair loss and has performed more than 10,000 separate hair transplant procedures. He and his team at the Miami Hair Institute are highly regarded in professional circles. Dr. Nusbaum is a recipient of the ISHRS Golden Follicle Award, for significant clinical contributions to the field of hair restoration.
Performing hair transplant surgery in South Florida since 1983, Dr. Nusbaum is a leading authority in the fields of hair loss treatment and surgical hair restoration. He has authored in numerous medical publications and lectured extensively in the field. Dr. Nusbaum is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
He is Past President of The American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, and has served on the Scientific and Ethics committees as well as on the Board of Governors of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
Dr. Nusbaum is an Editor Emeritus of The Hair Transplant Forum International, the principal scientific publication in the field of Hair Restoration Surgery, and serves on the Voluntary Faculty of the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
